Graduate Student’s Interview
Before I came to Japan,I had studied Japanese but not able to speak even daily conversation. After studying at Ichikawa Japanese Language Institute, my listening skill improved significantly as class was conducted in Japanese. Moreover, our teachers were every enthusiastic in teaching Japanese.
Thanks to this school, I am able to read newspapers, books, and fluent in speaking Japanese. The school also had many extra curriculum activities such as hot spring trip, trip to the Disneyland etc. I had a lot of friends and enjoyed time studying at Ichikawa Japanese Language Institute.

At school, however, I had a lot of friends from various countries and we had a good time studying together throughout 2 years. Our teachers were very kind and friendly. They made me feel at home. My Japanese improved a lot as if I was Japanese.

Hi, every one. Like everyone in the school, I aimed at continuing higher education in Japan. However, living in foreign country was not easy. I was afraid and worried about many things when I first came to Japan.
I learned many things when studying at Ichikawa Japanese Language Institute. We were all foreign students and had to use Japanese to communicate among one another. Anyway we had a good time together.
Our teachers were kind but at the same time strict. I got many good advices about futher study from the teachers. They also helped preparing for interview exam and encouraged us to move forward. Finally, I pass entrance examination at the university that I had dreamed for. Thanks to Ichikawa Japanese Language Instititute.

Hi, my name is Weng Jin Ling. I am now studying at Chiba University. We, as students, would like to enter university that we dream about. I would like to say that you must study hard in not only Japanese but also mathematics and general subject. For general subject, reading newspaper and listening to news are important for gaining knowledge as some recent news are not written in books.
At Ichikawa Japanese Language Institute, our teachers gave a lot of useful advice in not only acedemic related issues but also daily life problems. Thanks to our teachers, I passed entrance examination and able to continue my study at Chiba University.
At Ichikawa Japanese Language Instute, we had exam quite often. It made us feel alert for studying all the time. Curriculum emphasized on listening and grammar equally so that we could understand and able to use Japanese properly. Be ambitious and study hard for your goal !!
